In this intensive 2-day course we will reviewing the patho-mechanics of common upper extremity disorders and the Tissue Tension Release 3-Dimensional (TTR-3D) approach to treating them. The TTR-3D method incorporates increased multidirectional tension that develops in the muscles, fascia, nervous tissue and related connective tissues as a whole for each condition and a specific strategy to effectively treat them. When an soft tissue dysfunction is present and relevant you only need to treat that exact spot or region and not the healthy tissue. This saves time and improves effectiveness and restores the biomechanical joint function.
The areas that will be covered in this course are: Neck, Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and Hand.
A good knowledge of the anatomy structures will enhance the learning outcomes for this course! The common conditions we will discuss are:
Muscle strains, ligament sprains, tendonitis, tenosynovitis, subacromial impingement syndromes, outlet syndrome, epicondylitis lateralis and medialis, pronator teres syndrome, supinator syndrome, wrist problems, etc
The second course covers the Lower Extremity including the pelvis and low back.
